What Are Essential Oils and How Do They Work?

Essential oils are distilled from flowers, trees, roots and seeds and have been used for thousands of years for their healing and uplifting properties. They are highly concentrated and far more potent than dried herbs, delivering quick and effective results. In fact, 1 drop of peppermint oil is equal to 26 cups of peppermint tea!

Each oil’s complex and unique scent activates the Limbic system in the brain, which is responsible for our memories, emotions and hormone production. They have the ability to:

  • Uplift the spirits. sooth tension, and reduce anxiety & depression
  • Restore balance to the body through cleansing and hormone production
  • Relieve pain and decrease inflammation
  • Curb hunger
  • Promote healthy cell and hair growth
  • Combat insomnia
  • Promote healthy digestion and reduce nausea
  • Reduce wrinkles and acne
